Ernie Chambers — Nebraska state senator
“If I was going to carry a weapon, it wouldn’t be against you, it wouldn’t be against these people who come here that I might have a dispute with. Mine would be for the police. And if I carried a gun I’d want to shoot him first and then ask questions later, like they say the cop ought to do.”

Taraji P. Henson — actress
“My child has been racially profiled. He was in Glendale, California and did exactly everything the cops told him to do, including letting them illegally search his car. It was bogus because they didn’t give him the ticket for what he was pulled over for. Then he’s at University of Southern California, the school that I was going to transfer him to, when police stopped him for having his hands in his pockets. So guess where he’s going? Howard University. I’m not paying $50K so I can’t sleep at night wondering is this the night my son is getting racially profiled on campus.” (Video evidence disproved Henson’s allegations before she issued her apology.)

Bill De Blasio — New York City mayor
“It’s different for a white child. That’s just the reality in this country. And with Dante, very early on with my son, we said, look, if a police officer stops you, do everything he tells you to do, don’t move suddenly, don’t reach for your cell phone, because we knew, sadly, there’s a greater chance it might be misinterpreted if it was a young man of color.”

Daniele Watts — actress
“I bet you you’re a little bit racist.” (Said to the police officer detaining her for having sex in a public space. She later accepted a plea deal in which she was forced to write apology letters to the arresting officers.)

Ignored constitutional protections, the rule of law, and common sense, saying in a prepared statement regarding the events surrounding the shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, “a vigorous prosecution must now be pursued.”

Nasheed

(Jamilah Nasheed — Missouri state senator)

Nasheed attempted to threaten St. Louis prosecutor Bob McCullough out of doing his sworn duty in the Ferguson, Missouri shooting investigation. She sent McCullough a letter demanding he step aside as lead prosecutor stating, “If you should decide to not indict this police officer, the rioting we witnessed this past week will seem like a picnic…”

This impressive Missouri stateswoman later sought a DOJ investigation into the death of 18 year old VonDerrit Myers Jr., who was shot and killed by an off-duty St. Louis police officer after Myers produced a gun and shot multiple rounds at the officer. Disregarding the facts in favor of crying ‘race’ in the all-to-common encounter between police and a person wielding a deadly weapon, Nasheed offered, “This here was racial profiling turned deadly.”

“I guess I was simply a brown face in an affluent neighborhood.” (Wrote in an op-ed in the Dallas Morning News accusing two white officers of stopping her for “walking while black,” which was later proven to be a lie after dashcam footage was released to the public.)

(Mark Dayton — Minnesota Governor)
With only video AFTER a police shooting of an armed black man, the insightful Minnesota governor concludes that race was a motivating force in the tragic incident.  His executive skills evidently include mind reading.
