Bryan Patterson — LELDF Use Of Force Expert
Mr. Patterson worked for the Fairfax County (VA) Police Department from 1978 to 2006 as Master Police Officer.
He served as a patrol officer, SWAT team member, and Criminal Justice Academy instructor.
Mr. Patterson taught criminal justice courses in the Fairfax County school system and served as an auxiliary deputy in the Fairfax Sheriff's Department.
From 2006 to 2014, Bryan was a use of force supervisor at the Northern Virginia Criminal Justice Training Academy, where he was responsible for all defensive tactics instruction for basic recruit and in-service training classes involving thousands of police officers and deputies among the member agencies.
