Danielle Cutrona has served as Director of Global Public Policy at Burford Capital LLC, the world’s leading finance firm focused on law, since November 2018. Prior to joining Burford, Ms. Cutrona was the Senior Counselor to United States Attorney General Jeff Sessions at the U.S. Department of Justice. This followed nearly a decade of service on the United States Senate Committee on the Judiciary, where she served as Chief Counsel to then-Senator Jeff Sessions. Previously, she served as a Deputy Counsel to the New Jersey State Legislature, was a litigator with the law firms of Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom and Edwards Angell, and served as a law clerk on the New Jersey Supreme Court and New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division. A graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law and Georgetown University, Ms. Cutrona was the President of the Federalist Society New Jersey Lawyers Chapter and Senior Advisor to the Capitol Hill Lawyers Chapter.
