William Gleason

Bill Gleason is LELDF police practices expert and simulator instructor.

He is a decorated 32 year veteran of law enforcement. For the past two decades, Bill has dedicated his professional work to training police officers in use of force and de-escalation of force tactics. He has trained thousands of police officers and served as a valued expert resource to prosecutors, grand jurors, and law enforcement leaders.

Bill is a court recognized expert in police use of force, defensive tactics, police practices, and less lethal weapons. He has testified as an expert witness in over 50 criminal and civil cases both in state and federal court.
